Risky Business

Risk GameThanks to friend Silvie Z. for drawing this to my attention!

Though I am, I admit, a pretty regular Foursquare player - and I do get a thrill each time I surpass one of my friends - I am keenly aware of its shortcomings as a game. It never ends, for one thing, though I suppose being played in one-week rounds is kind of like an ending; the same could be said for Ken Jennings’s weekly quiz.

Moreover, Foursquare isn’t a game you can get better at, and it doesn’t really involve making any interesting choices. However, some clever hackers have found a way to raise the stakes and turned New York into a game of Risk!

I will admit I have a project in mind that is similar to this in some ways, and I still hope to implement it, so this is good inspiration that it can be done!

Has anyone played this game?
