The scavenger hunt not even the riot police could disrupt! So what happened in Hollywood on Wednesday night exactly? At least two things. One, we were running a scavenger hunt for 100+ young people from all around the country (and one from Dubai!). Number two… well, we’ll let Sky G., a game confederate who was playing the role of the mad scientist, tell you in her own words: “Kaskade is a HUGE dj who plays house music. He did a ‘mobile preview’ of his free concert celebrating the launch of the EDC movie he was doing at the Chinese theater that night and had a full dj set up driving around Hollywood blasting music on a big truck. I was in mels diner parking lot when he drove by, then after him tons of screaming fans came running down the streets after him, it was crazy. I guess all this excitement in the streets stirred up quite the commotion and outside the Chinese theater where fans were waiting for the concert they started to get a little rowdy, and eventually it turned into a riot situation where the cops had to block off Hollywood blvd, and the concert got canceled.”
