Haunted Museum

Happy Halloween everybody! May all your candy be full-sized and all doors open when you knock. Our best Halloween experience this year was the scavenger hunt game we created for the Haunted Museum event for members of the Natural History Museum in downtown LA. We worked with Erin and all the great volunteers there to create this game for parents and kids to play together.

Players could choose from 2 tracks, Fairy Tales or Scary Tales, depending on whether they wanted to save the museum… or doom it! The blue fairy (wearing black - for Halloween) helped kids turn their parents into marionettes, while a bloody Belle awaited in the Spider Pavilion with a puzzling web. Goldilocks enlisted players to put the right size lids on her jars of gummy bears, and Prince Charming turned a jump rope in the North American Mammals Hall.

We got great feedback on the game and all the players seemed to have a terrific time. We’ll post photos once we get some, but if you have any, please share with us!
